P0282 Cylinder 8 Injector Circuit Low

The P0282 trouble code means that the engine control module (ECM/PCM) has detected an abnormally low electrical condition in the fuel injector circuit for cylinder #8.

This is primarily an electrical circuit fault. The code does not automatically mean that the cylinder #8 injector is clogged, stuck open, or mechanically defective.

The important point is that P0282 identifies an abnormal electrical condition in the injector circuit, but it does not tell you which component is responsible.
