P0283 Cylinder 8 Injector Circuit High

P0283 is an OBD-II diagnostic trouble code indicating that the engine control module (ECM/PCM) has detected an abnormally high electrical condition in the fuel injector circuit for cylinder #8.

The word “High” refers to the electrical condition of the injector circuit. It does not directly mean high fuel pressure, excessive fuel delivery, or a rich air-fuel mixture.
